We
provide teaching in the core subjects:-
Mathematics, English,
Science and ICT
(Information and Communication Technology),
and in the foundation,
subjects of :-
Design Technology, History,
Geography, Art,
Music, PE
and RE and French (Y5/6 only).
The curriculum is differentiated to meet the needs of all children with
additional support provided for children with learning difficulties.
As
a school we have adopted the QCA’s Curriculum Guidelines.
The
School’s curriculum statement is as follows:
“We
will provide a broad, balanced, relevant education incorporating the National
Curriculum, which is appropriate for each child. Within this framework,
we will provide an education which offers a coherent and continuous range
of knowledge, which allows the child to participate, and to develop an
enquiring personality”.
